Maybe this is why Congressman Waxman had to be rushed to the hospital today. A new poll released by Rasmussen today, reflected how far out of touch the Democratic majority is with America's Voters. Over half of voters say the number one goal of any energy policy should be to keep energy costs low. 56% say that they should not pay one penny more, either in taxes or higher fuel costs, to fight global warming. In fact America is not even convinced that Global Warming is man made.
For those of you who have read the Cap and Trade bill passed in Congress last week (this eliminates most of the people who voted for the bill) the Waxman bill is almost totally opposed to what the public wants:

Of course we do. That’s what it says in the papers.

Americans are going to get what they deserve after being stupid enough to elect this bunch of greedy Nazis. If they aren’t smart enough to wise up by the next election. I hope it gets worse, a lot worse, whatever it takes to make people beg for liberty and respect for the Constitution.

I fervently hope and pray that this insane bill comes to haunt every single congressperson who voted it and they lose their offices BECAUSE of it.
They do NOT deserve the honor of their positions, they have forsaken the American people for the sake of power, they deserve the worst that can happen to them politically.

If you are begging you have already lost your liberty, and you will never be respected. You don't beg for liberty and respect, you stand for liberty and demand respect.

If we kill this bill, it is dead FOREVER! That makes the liberals even more desperate and dangerous. They will stop at nothing to get this through the Senate. Hopefully, they will get caught and exposed for their corruption and fraud.

I would be glad to pay more to fight Global Warming, but right now I’m afraid I have budgeted all my available funds in the critical fight to keep the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy Alliance from taking over the world!

In fact America is not even convinced that Global Warming is man made. If the Nobel Prize Winner hadn't stated that the issue was settled, we would all be analyzing the science of Global Warming and not debating the new Goebbels propaganda blitz.

Even if we elected better congresscritters in 2010 and they repealed it, Obama would veto. And there is no guarantee that the same morons will not reelect BO in 2012.

Americans will shut up and do as they're told by the Royal Congress and its Kenyan king. Public opinion, insofar as it conflicts with Federal ruling class activities, is neither required nor appreciated.
