There you go again, giving me micro-heart attacks from looking at Palin's pictures in the link. Beautiful article, I like this comment the best:

Same thing it's taught me about life: You have to have determination and set goals, and you don't complain when something's hurting because no one wants to hear it.

All indications, IMO, says that Palin is stepping down after one term and taking on the Obamanation in 2012.

Palin is such a threat to the liberal establishment there seems to be at least four to five hit pieces on her a week, I think Palin would be wise to call them on it.

I don’t think there was 1/100 the amount of hit pieces on Dan Quayle in 1993 and he actually was a vice prez for four years previous.

The are afraid of Pain for one reason and that is this:

“When Sarah Joined the Ticket before the RNC and after her speech at the RNC the jump in the polls for McCain whom was handpicked by leftists alarmed them and scared them to death, They were genuinely frightened that the loser they hand picked might actually win against the anointed one.”

If she could cause such a jump in the polls then she could be the one that could usurp the anointed one in 2012, thus the numerous hit pieces.

Either Palin can ride the storm like a Norse Thunder goddess and clean in house in 2012 or she acts as a great decoy taking the fire and hits from the liberal mainstream while we get another true conservative in Office in 2012.

In either role, i am sure Sarah Palin is up for it.

ROCK ON!

I couldn’t agree with you more. We’re in a new situation with someone like her and the viciousness of her detractors. New times, new tactics. Much more is to be gained by striking back at the slanted media coverage than by taking the silent “high-road” approach. They’re gonna hate on her anyways so she may as well get some good zingers in.

If I were Palin I think I would say this as a response to all of the hit pieces.

“Don’cha think it is kinda odd how many articles there are covering the Republican Vice-President Candidate of the last election compared to the Republican Presidential Candidate of the Same party? I find it rather odd to pickup a newspaper and find an article about myself eight months after the election. It is kinda like they love to hate me so much that they must keep telling everyone about me even though our party lost in 2008. I’ll bet John Edwards wished they had as much media attention as I have had in the last eight months. He would have probably done a lot better in the last primary season. If they are afraid of me so much you would think they would like me to fade into obscurity. So i would like to thank the Print Media, Broadcast media and the Internet Bloggers who all hate me for keeping me fresh in the minds of the American people so when they feel they need an an alternative in four years they will remember my name, thanks, this little ‘ol governor from Alaska couldn’t have done it with out’cha!”

LOL, as some folks I know here in Texas like to say, “You can love me or you can hate me, just keep talking about me...and don’t forget to spell my name right.”

I love this woman, she’s slick. She phrased it as a piece of fun “trash talk”, but I think her message to Obama was loud and clear. She was getting right in his face, for all to see, and saying “I can beat you in the presidential race”. That’s the kind of talk I like to hear from my candidate.

What a nice, subtle swipe at Obama for continuing to blame Bush.

I think that by 2012 even I could win against Obama, so imagine what Palin could do.

Even if she is never President.

You get the feeling that Sarah Palin is a significant historical figure and something is in the works. Something very big and very special is happening. I don’t know what that is yet. I can’t see into the future and I can’t see the big picture. but you can feel it.
