It was 1,300 pages long and had to voted on the next day.Who had time to read it?

A prudent Government official especially one is that is the "Czar" would make time to read it would they not given the horrible negative affect this is going to have on the Economy your bills and Jobs!

Cap-and-Trade = The Biggest Tax Increase In U.S. History

The house has currently passed and the Senate is considering a draconian cap & trade bill that will have devastating effects on our economy and your household budget. Obama readily admits that under his plan electricity rates will necessarily skyrocket. Is your family ready to pay thousands more a year for gas & heating so that Obama and his minions can combat "man made climate change."

Help us pass the “Read the Bills Act” (RTBA) You can read the text of RTBA by clicking the Draft Legislation tab above, or you can start by reading a summary of the legislation below. Following that summary is a description of our strategy for passing RTBA, and then a call to action.

Part 1: What RTBA does and why Most Congressmen are lawyers, and many others are businessmen. They know what “fiduciary responsibility” is. For Members of Congress, fiduciary responsibility means reading each word of every bill before they vote.

But Congress has not met this duty for a long time.

Jackson stole the spotlight in the media. All the news that was deemed "fit to print".

Time stamp 3AM:

The Left's new mantra: "Don't ask, don't tell.
Don't ask what the implications will be, don't tell about the job losses. Don't ask how it works, don't tell who will suffer. Don't ask what other ideas there might be, don't tell about any opposition."

Dim-able bulbs vs the Dim bulbs in D.C.

The Pelosi-Obama-Gore “green team” members don’t seem to have noticed their own Joy in having Dim-able bulbs in a few rooms, or fixtures.

The old, Edison designed and cheap, Incandescent bulbs behave very well on dimmer systems. They serve in homes, in theaters, on TV & movie stages. A “Dimmed” old Edison bulb uses LESS power than it would have, if lite at Full Wattage.

Ergo; current dimmer light set-ups with those nasty old “low tech” incandescent bulbs HAVE BEEN fighting Gore’s war for Decades!

Yet, NONE of the proposed “next generation STANDARD bulbs” can be used on a Dimmer!
Future Dim-able bulbs will cost MUCH more than their “Standard” equivalents.

How MUCH will I be expected to spend to put in a computerized Lighting System in my Dinning Room, once I run out of those nasty old Incandescent Bulbs?

Those are the same “nasty old bulbs” that don’t require a near-Hazmat level clean-up; when broken! NEVER, before, was I expected to drive each burnt out “Standard Bulb” to an Approved Collector, for “Proper Disposal”.

How is this “PROGRESS”?
