You challenged the poster who said that he would be surprised if “President for Life” isn’t Obama’s goal, then you questioned the poster who thinks that Obama doesn’t want even his four years let alone a president-for-life term.

There is an amendment to the Constitution which sets the term of president to two terms. Amendment XXII Section 1. "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of President more than once."... Does this Amendment apply to someone who was ineligible to serve in the first place? Hussein the Great Groveler wants to declare the Constitution unconstitutional. Sotomayor empathizes with him.

Hard to tell what your point is my point if you need further clarification is that this guy will be set up for multiple terms as president there has been a congressman in NY who has already proposed removing term limits take a look at Bloomberg in NYC. To think that he doesn’t want power or even wants to rule for 4 years is quite naive in my opinion. Billions of dollars are being directed to his reelection campaign as we speak. JOINT RESOLUTION

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each House concurring therein), That the following article is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years after the date of its submission for ratification:

‘Article—

‘The twenty-second article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.’.

My point was that you challenged posters from both sides of the argument, so I couldn’t tell which side of the argument you were on. Your “So you’ve had tea or a cig with Obama then?” comment to the guy who was essentially agreeing with your viewpoint, as if to say to him, “How would YOU know that that is Obama’s mindset?,” was curious given your now-obvious position to the contrary.

Anyway, yes, we shall see. I’m hoping that he gets busted and impeached before his first (and hopefully only) term is up, but that may be overly optimistic.
