If the president doesn't want to meddle in Iran, and make himself the story, then, given his behavior over the last couple days, I'd hate to see what he'd do if he were trying to meddle. It started a couple days ago when he cancelled invitations by U.S. embassies to their counterparts in Iran for Fourth of July celebrations.

According to previous news reports, not a single invitation was accepted so it was an empty gesture to un-invite someone that was not coming anyway.

Sorry, but as president of the US, with the “nuclear football” always within reach zero's continued pattern of hesitation and delay in straight-up decisions (e.g. Somalia terrorists, etc) is likely to get many Americans needlessly killed... Correct statement = "BETTER NEVER LATE"...
