Robert and Ralph Brown are leaving the United States of America today, bound for Hamburg Germany. They are voyaging across the Atlantic Ocean in an open fisherman flats boat to raise money for wounded American soldiers and their families, Saturday June 27, 2009.
"There is no such thing as coincidence ... God is always in Control. I am very comfortable with the seaworthiness of the DreamBoat Intruder. I know there is real danger, just like there is in everyday life, I know that in the event of disaster, I trust my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I know my soul will rest in Heaven.
It is not how good I am, but rather the Goodness and Forgiveness of God."
Ralph Brown

That was my first reaction, now I am past the OMG point, If the Lord of Hosts has CALLED them to do this, and I believe that in their hearts these brave men are responding to that call, then they go with my blessing. On my drive to work, as I listened in amazement to my local radio station interview these men this morning, and as they recited the names of the Marines they commemorate, I witnessed a rainbow, a full half circle from the north to the south.
I think of a lot better ways to honor our troops than getting myself killed in some damn fool stunt.
You and me both;I fail to understand the rationale behind many of these basically useless stunts as honoring anyone or preventing any disease.Better the time and money be spent helping wounded veterans cope with adjustment to life without whatever was lost.
If these guys are for real, then God is able to carry them to safety, or to take them away, but in any event they are stepping out in faith on a seemingly impossible journey. To break through the noise of our cacophonous lives it takes a huge attention getter. How will we know what is true? By the fruit of their labors. These guys have already raised much more for our soldiers than I ever have, and I have raised alot. Search your contributions up to this point, have you done as much? If you have, please tell, because what ever it is that you are doing for our troops that is so successful, I want to do a lot of.
you just don’t cross the Atlantic in a flatbottom. The physics of this are suicidal
Evidently these guys have done it before, going to Bermuda and back to New York...Crazy!
