I hear you. Hey, thanks for the comments! I really enjoyed the discussion. Take care.
I think it depends on how you were instructed and how you interpret the Word of God.
I don't think Paul's intent in 1 Timothy 2:14 is not to absolve Adam of the blame for the fall. I think both Adam and Eve failed. However Paul holds Adam centrally responsible; 1 Cor 15:22 (KJV) 22, Because of Adam, all people die. So because of Christ, all will be made alive.
As does God in Gen 3:17-19 (KJV) 17, And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18, Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19, In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
Adam did not follow God's order of leadership.
