A child cannot lose their citizenship because of the parents. That child has to renounce his citizenship as an adult.
He did, tacitly, when he used his Indonesian Adoption Birth Certificate to obtain the Passport to go to Indonesia and Pakistan in 1981 under the name Barry Soetoro.
