Sadly, much of the pathetic slime that drips from our religious leaders is aimed at conning God into providing us with wealth, health and happiness. Thus are the primitive atavists of mankind's darkest ages born again. We are driven into terror because we believe ourselves to be gods, capable of saving the earth. In truth, we are incapable of saving ourselves.
