For a household of four, energy costs go up $436 that year, and they eventually reach over $1,241 in 2035 and average $829 per year over that span. Electricity costs go up $468, gasoline goes up $565, and natural gas goes up $161 by 2035. That’s a 58 percent increase in gas prices, 90 percent for electricity, and 55 percent for natural gas. Cumulative higher energy costs for a household of four from 2012-2035 would reach nearly $20,000.

This study doesn’t include any considerations for all the higher prices of goods and services we’ll be getting from companies passing on their costs. This is just outrageous. I wonder if this is the straw that breaks the camel’s back. I simply cannot take this any more.

The R’s need to tack on an amendment that forces California to start drilling, pumping, and refining oil ASAP so we won’t have to bail their sorry asses out of their own self-imposed stupidity.

Get ready to kiss prosperity in this country goodbye! Brought to you by the commie loving government of the good ‘ole USofA. There’s gonna be a whole lot of unemployed, very hungry, disillusioned people in this country, and I think it’s gonna be sooner rather than later.

There is no environmental gain here. There is no environmental problem as stated. Even if there was an environmental problem this "solution" has no basis in science.

There is, however, an ever greedy Big Government in need of power and control over the people ... and a few elites (serial killers of freedom) who are cashing big change at the expense of the people. G.E. (parent company of NBC) wants a piece of that action.
