The same is true of Scarborough on MSNBC and George Will on ABC. Will actually complimented Obama on his handling of this Iranian crisis, which shouldn't be that surprising given his criticism of Reagan when he delivered the "tear down this wall" speech.
Will, like Buchanan, sometimes has very relevant things to say on domestic policies, but is almost always wrong when sticking his foot in the foreign policy arena.
But, that's what the "conservative" voices are on broadcast television - weak. With the likes Scarborough, Will, Noonan, Murphy and Elizabeth "the brain donor" Hasselback representing the conservative viewpoint on broadcast television, it's no wonder people don't have any confidence in conservatives.
I just think people didn’t watch the video and took the headline as accurate. Again, I think Pat’s a scoundrel, and also gets kicks by walking very close to the line on being an anti-Semite, but he’s not stupid, and didn’t say that the protesters in Iran were under the influence of “neo-cons.”
I would call him a “protectionist” or “isolationist,” with overtones of racial bigotry. Does anyone know if he has a real job besides weekend TV ?
MSNBC keeps Buchanan on as their token conservative so that all his comments are ascribed to conservatives, generally.
If anyone thinks that liberals don’t see Buchanan as the face and voice of conservatism, they have another thing coming .. rather Machiavellian of MSNBC.
Buchanan is far from MY idea of a conservative .. I’ll stick with Rush any day.

Go back to your cage, Pat.
Pat needs to shut up and learn German, so that he can express himself properly.
There was also that dork with the bow tie.
'Comrade Wolf' and the mullahsIn the 27 years since the Iranian Revolution, the United States has launched air strikes on Libya, invaded Grenada, put Marines in Lebanon and run air strikes in the Bekaa Valley and Chouf Mountains in retaliation for the Beirut bombing.
We invaded Panama, launched Desert Storm to liberate Kuwait and put troops into Somalia. Under Clinton, we occupied Haiti, fired cruise missiles into Sudan, intervened in Bosnia, conducted bombing strikes on Iraq and launched a 78-day bombing campaign against Serbia, a nation that never attacked us. Then, we put troops into Kosovo.
After the Soviet Union stood down in Eastern Europe, we moved NATO into Poland and the Baltic states and established U.S. bases in former provinces of Russia's in Central Asia.
Under Bush II, we invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, though it appears Saddam neither had weapons of mass destruction nor played a role in 9-11.
Yet, in this same quarter century when the U.S. military has been so busy it is said to be overstretched and exhausted, Iran has invaded not one neighbor and fought but one war: an 8-year war with Iraq where she was the victim of aggression. And in that war of aggression against Iran, we supported the aggressor.
Hence, when Iran says that even as we have grievances against her, she has grievances against us, does Iran not have at least a small point? And when Russian President Putin calls Bush's America "Comrade Wolf," does he not have at least a small patch of ground on which to stand?
Comrade Wolf knows whom to eat, it eats without listening and its clearly not going to listen to anyone
Vladimir Putin
That's right. Could you find a better conservative on the far left.
“There are times when Pat is right on....then there are times when hes an absolute idiot.”
1 drop of black in white paint makes gray, no matter how much more white you add.
And Pat is riddled with evil.

Leather underwear model in a gay bar.
You can bet dollars to donuts Buchannan didn't vote for Obama. How many Israeli-loving non-bigot Jews can make the same claim?
As always listen for yourself don't rely on the reporter.
Herr Buchanan is a bigoted old yokel. MSNBC sure has found a great jester as “token conservative”.
The KGB funded and directed the hippy protests and movements in the US in the 60s, I would not be suprised to find that outside influences may be active in helping the protests in Iran. They aren’t the instantiators of them, but taking advantage of the situation for their own benefits? Certainly, it is the nature of politics.
He's kept there by leftists who want to make conservatives look bad.
And by and large, that system works.
That's fair to say, as to non-bigoted Israel-loving Jews, I doubt there are any. They're all bigots, aren't they.
no, when pat was a kid his dad was injured in a concentration camp in germany...he fell out of the guardtower
