First, here is the latest on the events today in Iran. After Ayatollah Khomeni warned against protesting today, the numbers were significantly smaller than they had been. They were NOT small or insignificant. Several thousand protesters came out all over Tehran. They were met by police that used everything from tear gas, pepper spray, and clubs to beat back the protesters. Video has begun to stream out.

They went from 100’s of thousands to a few thousand. That is a huge difference.

Of course, the Iranians have police on the street and they are beating anyone that they can get their hands on. It’s not realistic to expect as many as previously. That thousands defied the government and risked their lives is huge and this isn’t going to stop today.

I am not holding my breathe that anything will change there. Nothing overseas really matters if Islam in America is not addressed and right now our govt is on the side of Muslims here.

On twitter, Fatemiyeh Hospital Tehran: 30-40 dead as of 11pm; 200 injured. Police taking names of incoming injured.

More: From multiple sources on twitter, the Basij (Mullah Militia) are firing on and killing Iranians today. They are at the hospitals to take names of and cutody of injured protestors.

This one and the last one was actually brought due to Jimmy Carter letting the clerics take control of Iran. Hope he is happy.
