Here's just the thing for a government drowning in red ink: Wager $108 billion of your tax dollars on risky loans to corrupt governments.
That's what President Obama and Treasury Secretary Geithner call a healthy investment. I call it a damned waste of money.

I understand that there is a bumper sticker that reads:
“Please don’t tell Obama what comes after a trillion”
The question should be asked how the $108 billion is allocated. The money will probably go to nations that demanded their independence during the 20th century.
Most still need a handout even after many years of “independence” while biting the very hand that feeds them.
Why spend $2.7 trillion on a corrupt domestic government?

When the nation is bleeding as much as we are, it’s time to walk away and call it quits. Don’t give these govts anymore money.
