“rude when people don’t even ask permission and take all sorts of liberties with your name,” I agree I hate it when people I do not know or have just met immediately act like we are long lost old friends. I would prefer to be Mrs._____ to them unless I say please call me Kalee. I would never call someone I just meet by their first name unless the introduction was in a social setting and then only if the person was younger than I. I always address older people as Mr or Mrs, especially in a business situation. Where have manners and respect gone?
