It's not the sheeple that worry me. I have friends that are educated, well read, a couple are even great with programming computers, which indicates a good grasp of logic. And yet, they fail to see even the clearest examples of wrongdoing with this administration...
Is it that there are levels of intelligence, and these people do not have all required levels? Is it that they are ashamed to admit their failure to see through his shell during the campaign? I don't know, but it breaks my heart to see such talent and intellect lost to the dark side.
Stalinists lie. Doesn’t mean that they loved Stalin. It means that they adopt the tactics of Stalinists. And that includes boldly lying to your face and fellow travellers nodding in agreement. It isn’t about making a persuasive argument based on facts, it is about winning the argument and refusing to concede to the other side on any point.
