It's a phenomenon documented in “The Emperor's clothes”, in 1984 and lived through by millions under communism.

They lie to your face telling you that 1+1 is 2. For reasons that are a mystery to me, people that otherwise would see the lie for what it is, nod in agreement.

So it is the case here. A woman of modest looks, documentable lack of fashion sense, a walk that would send a rhinoceros into fits of passion, no grace, no humility and given to occasional bouts of cold, icy, almost hateful stares, is now elevated on a pedestal of fashion queen.

The journalist and filmmaking class of modern America was TRAINED on the propaganda works of the Soviets and Nazis. Goebbels, Reifenstahl, Eisenstein, the LBJ campaign against Goldwater. THAT was the BASIS of education for the future propagandists of America.

And it's being thrown in our faces to a devastating degree.
