The frantic coverage of Von Brunns act in DC has almost fallen off the radar. There can only be one reason that it has. The Government controlled media has found evidence that this man was a looney leftist.
That's wishful thinking on your part, since he repeatedly inveighs against "liberalism" in his manifesto

The problem with the terms -- LIBERAL and CONSERVATIVE as I see it is the terms have been so hijacked by the media that the original meaning of those words have been rendered malleable and for all purposes, almost meaningless.
They for instance, call people like the Dutch politician, Geert Wilders a conservative or the recently assassinated Pym Fortuin a conservative when a look at their policies show that they share SOME philosophies with true conservatives but in most others, are in fact LIBERAL.
Most of the media for instance tell us that "conservatives" recently won elections in most of Europe. Are they really conservatives in the sense that they are for limited government? Nope. The term has all but lost its meaning.

I didn’t say liberalism. I said he is a leftist.
By the way, Welcome to FR.
