Thanks for your advice, I like your answer much better than what I came up with but it was 7:00 in the morning when he asked and I never saw it coming.

I guess I should think these things out before hand, I'll learn someday :)

I love the little ones. It is my firm belief that we should involve their developing minds in notions of God and His closeness, all through their life.

I do in fact believe that a baby in the womb is still in God's presence more than ours until a certain gestational age—which I could not name if I had to, but it would probably be when the child begins to sense the world around him/her ... the mother's heart beat, the pulsing umbilicus, etc.

Experiments have shown that a child of twenty five to thirty weeks has a startle sound reflex and can learn to ignore a loud noise that is repeated regularly but which does not harm. This proves the alive unborn can learn!

We are truly fearfully and wonderfully made.
