Same here. I used to love the Rich's department store in Savannah, Georgia but since Macy's bought them out there's nothing there I need or want. The first year it wasn't too bad but every subsequent time I went the quality and prices got worse. I can find better things at Dillard's or Belk.

You are precisely correct about the "path of least resistance" above because the manager thankfully doesn't even need to do anything. If the crazed DUmmie visits the store again and complains, the manager can simply say:
"...What! That terrible Fox News propaganda is on again? Down with George W. Bush! Who switched the channel? When I find that darn guilty employee, they are in BIG trouble..."
Afterward the DUmmie departs the retailer in a huff, the store manager and employees can have another good laugh at his/her expense. This is a really funny one! :-)

What, no Bob Ross? The channel I demand on all televisions is the Universe of Mellow Bob Ross Entertainment (UMBRE). Otherwise, I complain, boycott, and picket.

I'm surprised you don't use Twitter. I have enough trouble keeping up with the technology I already have! I am by nature a Luddite. I try to wait several years after the "next new thing," to see if it "takes," before I use it. I waited till 1987 to get a computer, till 1997 to get the Internet, and till 2005 to get a cell phone. I know how to browse the Internet and send e-mails, and that's enough for me. I don't do Twister or MyFace or Spacebook or any of those newfangled thingies.

I don't do Twister or MyFace or Spacebook or any of those newfangled thingies.Good for you. I joined Facebook a month or so ago because I found a number of friends and relatives on there. But other than posting links to my website, my Kiwanis website, a jazz site and such, I haven't figured out what it's for. It seems kinda silly.
I'm not one to post what I did today, or how many trips to the bathroom I've made (none of your business...), so I really don't see a whole lot of value. But, I'll leave it go for now.
But, there's way too much in-your-face idiocy on the web as it is. I don't need to contribute more.

I hate to tell you this, but there is no such thing as a “Webelo”!
It’s “WEBELOS” in caps, because it stands for “We be loyal scouts”
I was in scouts for like 12 years and a 40 merit badger Eagle Scout, so I am an authority! You can take that to the bank! :)
Otherwise... GOOD JOB on nailin’ them DUMMIES!

I don't do Twister or MyFace or Spacebook or any of those newfangled thingies. Guess what? With the introduction of the new I-Phone, you can now get the earlier version for just 99 bucks. I plan to even though I don't think I can use it with my MetroPCS plan. What I will do is use the Wi-Fi to connect to the web via the I-Phone. I can't wait.
As to Twitter and Facebook, I think you will find them very useful for any future Lutheran uprisings. Quick communication with the people you want to communicate with. Like I said, Twitter can be very boring or a fantastic research tool if you use it right.

I don't post that stuff. Basically I post the DUFUs and my NewsBusters stories. I have some very influential friends on my friends list so the word gets out there.
BTW, did you know that yesterday O'Reilly was quoting from my NB story about the co-founder of CNN griping about Fox News?

Hmmm.... I notice this DUmmie thread is no longer on the “Greatest” page at all. From the very top of the Greatest page to not anywhere on there just hours later. It doesn’t happen that quick so I think Skinner got worried about how ridiculous the DUmmies were looking and removed it from anywhere on the “Greatest” page.

I don't watch O'Reilly. I really don't watch much Fox News (or other televised news) to speak of. I get my news here.
