FYI, all of those guys were Persians, not Arabs.

You are so right. Now that is worth knowing, because the League of Arab States website lists them among the individuals who they tout as making extraordinary achievements. I did know Hassan bin Sabah was Persian, but I did not question the others origin. Here is a link to the League of Arab States where they cover those individuals.

If you then go to the page where they list their members, Iran is not among them. Interesting contradiction.
