Georgia should sue; and then do it anyway..(heck he has no say in local and state elections, anyway..)!!!
We dont require this level of documentation to be elected president,
Well, they’ve sure proven that! Where’s the BC?
Apart from that...the voter registration process MUST validate a person’s eligibility to vote, which may take a period of time. That would support a notion of establishing a cutoff time, ahead of an election, by which a person must have registered in order to vote. This would seem to rule out the ‘same day’ registrations (regardless of provisional ballots, IMO).
With an effective registration process, we are still left with the problem of proper ID at the polling station. The signature comparison process used in OH seems to be a marginally acceptable solution, given the amateur nature of the poll workers.
Fingerprints, maybe? Retinal scans? DNA? All of these speak to some sort of comparative database against which the realtime data is cast, to assure ID. An idea to which I’m opposed, generally speaking, as far too invasive, too ‘big brother-ish’.
I’m open to suggestions on this one...
The only difference between what you serve up and the mainstream mania is yours is so much more fattening; where they merely toss the salad on the same plate every day, you mix up the dressing, heavy on vinegar and loaded with fat and flesh us out.
Yeah, I know how humiliated I am whenever a cashier asks to see my ID when I use my credit/debit card.
