Governor Palin must now start to demonstrate the intellectual framework of her agenda and a clear intellectual understanding of the issues that this current President is going to leave the country

If she can intelligently articulate the problems of this country, and the proper solutions, she can be a force. That stupid Katie Couric interview still haunts her, and she still has a bit to do before she can start to regain the middle.*****

OK so so Intellectual - Katie Courie interview still haunts her? Are you claiming to be a mind reader or what? Everyone but the braindead know that THAT interview was HIGHLY edited.

Articulate the problems of this Country? Guess you missed of her GREATEST speeches just recently. Even Rush talked about this Speech. Please go do your homework.

People like you epitomize the problem with the fanatical Palin fans here. Someone so much as suggests she has a political problem (not even an ideological or personal problem, simply a problem with how people perceive her), and you attack him. He wasn't even advocating another candidate, but rather wishing her the best. But he's still worthy of attack, because he doesn't toe the line that Palin is perfect in every way.

It's obvious the Couric interview is still an issue, since it still impacts how many people see her; you're in denial if you don't recognize. But it's impossible to have a reasonable discussion with you people. As I stated earlier, I certainly don't dislike Palin, but I strongly dislike some of her supporters here.

She has a long ways to go.

As I said in an earlier post, after the trust I put in GWB in 1999, I am in full wait and see and “prove it to me” mode with any potential conservative leader

A year ago nobody, not even this board, knew who the heck she was. It took Reagan 16 years from his introduction on the national scene to achieve the Presidency. He had an intellectual framework for his agenda which made sense and the ability to sell it.

And honestly, Rush’s opinion doesn’t mean much to me
