You know if they had not bailed out Chrysler the first time, GM would be in a much stronger market share today.
No way, they’d have still bastardized the Caprice, marketed the Aztec, run Saturn up and down the line with meddling, sold Hughes/Direct TV, pansied under to their Unions, etc...
They were a disaster merely looking for a suitably large object to impact, it happened to be their finance arm coupled with crushing sales declines in this market...
