“Absolutely, and we let them. :-(”

Only so far and only for so long. Like all things elastic, energy gets stored up by the stretch. The longer it goes on, the more violent and brutal the lash-back.

Regardless of motivation or personal desire, those who constantly preach patience are only serving to deepen the nastiness in the end. Pushing the give until a true rage break occurs is the bestest way possible to ensure total destruction and obliteration of the opposition.

I don't see us reaching that tipping point anytime soon. There's still too much faith in the court system. Until the people are ready to take back power from the judges, nothing will change.

Not that it isn't a good idea to be prepared if the time ever comes, though.

"There will be a reason to clamp down on the fed up middle class, by force."

How? Every army in the world could not subjugate 300 million armed civilians. Even allowing for Obots, peacecreeps, hippies, fence sitters, sheeple, etc. you'd have 25-50 million armed individuals, many of them military veterans, NRA members, etc. Even if one could ship the entire Chinese People's Liberation Army magically to America, they wouldn't stand a chance! The United States Army numbers under half a million, even including the Army National Guard and Army Reserves. The only reason Tienanmen Square turned out that way is due to gun control. Can you imagine millions of armed citizens on the Washington Mall?

So how long do we keep on letting them? Are they absolutely undefeatable?

Are they absolutely undefeatable?

Only until we defeat them. Unless Atlas Shrugged is true.

Reading your post after reading this link in another post just makes me want to cry!. You are so right in every way. This “O” and the current Democrat Congress is to be feared. A revolution is coming and I don’t know how peaceful it will be. The corruption in the government is disgusting - many of them should be in jail or up on charges of treason.

I’m sorry to make you sad, but if we don’t stop this now, we won’t be able to.

*HUG*

Let’s explain the situation to everyone we know.

Back in the early 80s, I attended a speech by the late Arkady Shevchenko, then the highest ranking Soviet official to defect to the West. He had been their top guy at the UN.

He spoke, interestingly, at KENNESAW COLLEGE — and we all know what Kennesaw is famous for! I’m proud to have played a a small role in helping Mayor Darvin Purdy get that legislation through the Kennesaw City Council.

His talk dealt with the clear intent of the leadership of the old Soviet Union to somehow take America. He mentioned their ICBMs and the nuclear blackmail threat they posed.

Then he broke from his prepared remarks and offered the audience this wisdom:

“The leaders of my country are as AFRAID OF YOUR 200 MILLION PRIVATE FIREARMS as they are of your ICBMs. NEVER GIVE UP YOUR GUNS.”

Frankly — and, while he had to be careful as he was under FBI protection at the time, Shevchenko alluded to this in his remarks — I’m as concerned about some domestic tyrant (say, a Hillary, Nancy Pelosi, Barack HUSSEIN Obama or Chuck Schumer) as I am about some foreign enemy.

And it is THAT threat about which the Founding Fathers were concerned that prompted them to leave us the Second Amendment.

The BIG question is: WILL WE KEEP IT?

If the narcissist now occupying the White House remains on the present course, we face actions in this country that could easily make the War Between the States look tame.

For a relatively young nation, we have had several very bloody wars here already.

Here’s the simple fact: We are now being pushed to a level of control and servitude many, many Americans cannot abide. The Founding Fathers left us four methods — represented by FOUR BOXES — for halting that process:

1. The SOAP BOX. We can freely speak out AGAINST that process in hopes we can educate enough of those around us of the dangers of the end point and they will come to their senses and use the second box. The move to silence certain voices here via the ludicrously named “Fairness Doctrine” seems to be gaining some momentum. If it succeeds, we will be far less informed and more MISinformed by an increasingly lapdog media. If we are denied the SOAP BOX, we still have – so far, at least — the

2. JURY BOX. Most judges will not tell jurors that they have the right to NULLIFY bad laws by judging the facts of the case AND THE LAW under which the case was brought. It’s called “JURY NULLIFICATION” and, despite the successful efforts of the statists and elitists to remove it from most state charters, it is STILL embodied in the constitutions of several states (GEORGIA IS ONE OF THEM!). But judges WILL NOT TELL YOU THAT. You must bring that information to the courthouse with you. And, remembering that it is NOT a sin to lie to a tyrant, if asked if you have ever even heard the phrase, say “no.” And DO NOT EVEN MENTION JURY NULLIFICATION to your fellow jurors! Simply hold out for what your common sense and love of liberty tell you is the correct verdict. AND IF YOU ARE ONE WHO LOVES – AND FULLY GRASPS — THE NOW THREATENED IDEA OF AMERICA, NEVER AVOID JURY DUTY.

3. We can also resist non-violently at the BALLOT BOX. However, given the century long trend to universal suffrage (where even the least informed, most ignorant, most easily manipulated among us can be hauled to the polls and – for a pack of smokes and a pint of Ripple – instructed to vote for the socialist-du-jour. Such massive interference with the election process by ACORN and others will probably make our effective use of this box more difficult if not impossible. Should that happen – or the denial by the state of our God-given rights under the Second Amendment becomes fact – we may be forced to pick up the

4. CARTRIDGE BOX. Pray with me that we never again reach that day. If we do get there, GOD HELP US ALL!

Let me close this with some words from the past.

“Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet deprecate
agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground.
They want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the
ocean without the awful roar of its waters.

“This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical
one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a
struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never
did, and it never will. Find out just what a people will submit
to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and
wrong which will be imposed upon them; and these will continue
until they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both.
The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those
whom they oppress.”
Frederick Douglass August 4, 1857

Mr. Douglass was, of course, speaking of the slavery then extant here.

So, too, are we.

We’ll only stop it by standing up for each other, and having each other’s backs.

That’s the only way it’s ever worked.

Heh, more hugs to you. We can all use them!

Of those armed citizens, how many do you think would actually resist gun confiscation with violence? How many would just roll over and convince themselves that they’ll live to fight another day?
