There is a difference now, though. Our country is being run by a leftist president and a statist Congress full of Democrats pushing through as much society-damaging crap as they can before they get voted out. They remember 1994 and are hell-bent on getting their pet socialist wet dreams passed.

It's a different climate now. A dangerously different climate.

We also didnt have the heller ruling or even the liberal as hell 9th circuit rulling afirming heller...

You dont think they are running polls weekly on issues such as this?

Support for gun control is at an all time low....even after many new tragedies...

I was just at my local gun shop the other day to pick up a new grip....guns are flying off the shelves....even at huge price increases....

Congressional dems arent going anywhere near the issue...Obama and holder be damned...

They are craven little cowards who only care about re-election...and they havent forgotten 94’

The next round of elections is a mere 18 months away...

They didnt even have the will to vote down the carry of concealed weapons in national parks when their entire base was screaming and writing letters and blog articles...

They arent going to ban shit.

They have allready lost several rounds...such as banning the re-sale of brass...

having the desire...and having the will and means to enforce that desire are two different things...
