How important is New Jersey’s race? Consider this: When Newt Gingrich spoke at CPAC a few weeks ago, he called this year’s New Jersey race “one of the most consequential in American history.”

It’s that’s important.

While Republicans from all over America are enamored with Lonegan, his biggest challenge comes from Republicans in the Garden State. Monmouth County, a Republican stronghold, awarded the party line on the ballot to another candidate by fiat, without allowing Republican Committee members to be heard.

That still doesn't make the opinions of people from other states matter this election.
When they live here and pay taxes here, they can have something to say about it that matters.

& I don't care what newt has to say about anything.

Lonegan cannot win against Corzine. Republicans have a real chance to win this state and Christie can win. the Dmocrats are so scared of Christie that they are running anti-Christie commericals in the hope that Lonegan gets the nomination. Corzine is bankrolling these ads.
