No it means China has more secure access to basic commodities and gets to avoid the dollar

Are you assuming China's not paying in dollars, or do you know this?

Brazil and China are trying to work out a deal whereby the purchase from each other using national currencies, bypassing the dollar. There were multiple articles posted to FR about it a few days ago :

But there's also been a bit of backpedaling, or soft-soaping, however you want to put it:

Guess they got scared of setting off a dollar-dumping frenzy too early...

See post #10. The Chinese see whats happening in the US re: the dollar and the economic house of cards our Community Organizer in Chief is perpetuating. They are taking a long strategic view and are trying to work around the dollar when possible. They may have softened their dollar dump for the time being but rest assured they see a coming collapse.
