Well, if Savage disappears, for one reason or another, other radio hosts can only benefit by his absence.

But he is far too vituperative towards his contemporaries for them to support him anyway.

British Ambassador Sheinwald attacks Dr. Savage; 20 May 2009; San Francisco KQED

Sheinwald is a worthless Eurotwit. He makes me ashamed of our descent from the UK.

This is not to defend Dr. Savage. Just to assert the First Amendment.

Sheinwald is a worthless Eurotwit.

And unabashedly so. Mikey has EVERY reason to exploit this.

Yes, Savage is the only one who says it is exactly as it is. He knows evil and corruption and dangerous idiocy when he sees it. C.A.I.R. knows he has their number. C.A.I.R. is almost certainly the force behind this nonsense in England, which the radical Muslims now own. Savage is right when he mourns for the England that has let itself be overrun by murderous hoards. If only the English cared about English as much as Savage does, as he mournfully airs the British group’s song, “There is no England any more.” Savage is a hero of our time. Sad to see that some on the list suggest they prefer a “team player” to a truthteller/prophet of the U.S.

I agree that it is not reasonable for those conservative competitors whom Savage regularly maligns to mention Savage by name and express support for him personally.

But I do believe strongly that they should mention the issue in light of the danger that it presents to all -- especially them.

As for Savage's attacks on America's enemy, they have noticed and are reacting.

Iran gets in on the Michael Savage bashing.

Wow, the leading cause of terrorism in the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran, has taken offense at Michael Savage!

That may 'splain a lot.

What other talk show host has been so outspoken? He's put his family and himself in real danger.

Now England is helping the enemy shut him up -- one way or another

More grist for the Savage-bashing mill, Part 2

This pundit is full of hot air, he sounds like he has a few grudges and grievances he wants to air against Savage, as he tries to excuse the inexcusable in supporting Rush and Hannity and Fox News for leaving Savage hanging out to dry alone instead of joining him in speaking out against this travesty, you know the Marxists won't ever bother supporting a conservative's right to free speech, it's sad to see other so called conservatives joining them in their silence.

William of C., I know you criticize Savage on many occasions but as usual when push comes to shove, it’s nice to see you still have his back, and I think it’s because despite Savage’s flaws, you know as well as I do that his heart is in the right place, and that is something the Savage haters will never appreciate.

LISTEN, there a little part of Savage that likes that fact that no one is coming to his defense, then he can look like he’s the warrior fighting on all fronts...

Yes.

As a listener to radio since the 1940s, a survivor of the "Fairness Doctrine" (the silenced generation) and a virtual 24/7 listener since the beginning of modern talk radio I have believed for almost fifteen years that Michael Savage was picked by our Creator to do what he does.

I am no acolyte however. Sometimes his foibles interfere with his mission, IMO.

Now that's a terrible thing, working construction before he made it big. How many of us have worked some pretty lousy jobs before? Call me crazy, I think that makes you a better person.

Savage can call me burger-flipper, pavement-layer, or scullery-rat all day long. I did all that before becoming an engineer. At least I wasn't on WELFARE!!
