Pelosi’s resignation would not be good for the country.
Right now you have a Speaker who is a known (and very poor) liar and who has a widespread credibility problem. Weak politicians are good for America in every sense.
If she resigns, she will be replaced by a strong politician who will be a much better liar and whose credibility will be supported by a compliant media.
That’s when we really get screwed.
I want her to resign, but only after she’s been dragged through the mud for several weeks (or even months if that were possible) with her lying and duplicity being obvious to all. As a key leader in the dim party this has to have some residual effect on the voter’s perceptions of the party as they’ve put agenda before national interests.
