By the fall of 2008, the face of the Republican Party had become Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber. Conservative intellectuals had no party.

Everything I've been feeling since the Autumn of 2008 expressed in a single sentence. Brilliant.

This Posner guy is a University of Chicago lecturer. He's one of Obama's buddies. Guy's a commie or a thief or both.

He's not worth listening to, and his line about Conservatism's face showed up in Obama bin Laden's speech regarding people who "cling to their religion and guns".

Smart Conservative Intellectuals reject Commies and their little stories.

Unfortunately, the face of the Republican Party in the fall of 2008 was not Sarah Palin, but McCain

Here's hoping that the GOP learns its lesson in 2012 and nominates a true conservative with a proven track record--Sarah Palin!
