Prejean made the point at the press conference that she answered the question honestly. The question involved only pictures taken for publication. Not pictures taken for portfolios, etc., and not for publication.

If you look at the picture, she has a top on. It’s just not fully covering all the parts you (but not I) want covered. This photo almost equals the swimsuit edition of Sports Illlustrated. Wow! What a scandal.

Guess what... in normal photo shoots, if they release the whole thing, you get a whole lot more exposure than is shown in these handful of photos.
However, I do not like that fact she is representing herself for the Christian community. The Bible does not condone her behavior of exposing herself to make money or a career. Just quite the opposite. A woman is to be modest and of undisputable character. So this matter is a mixed bag of what the 'world' likes to dwell upon.

If any of you have daughters who aspire to modeling may I suggest that at the very least you demand contractually copies of any and all photos taken. Sometimes, more often than is reported I am sure, photographers intentionally capture candids, changing photos, and out-takes that are not exactly what the girls intended for a non-nude shoot.
1. The new photos are released "just in time" as Trump is making his decision on Prejean keeping her crown. no attempt at influencing his decision, right?
2. NO mention of Miss Rhode Island.
3. No search (mentioned) for risque photos of any other Miss USA contestants, who, presumably, kept their mouths shut, or spoke the politically correct line.
4. "Outrage" at Prejean appearing at pro-hetero marriage events. You know there would be no "outrage" expressed if she had appeared at events supporting homo-marriage.

While both Carrie Prejean and Michael Phelps continue to be dismissive of relationship rumors (even her grandmother confirmed to RadarOnline.com that the two have been on multiple dates), a new photo of their first weekend together has surfaced.
Taken in Septemer 2008 at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas where they were both staying, the two are clearly having a good time (then 21-year old Prejean grins from ear-to-ear as she holds what looks like an icy cocktail).
They two continued to see each other after the weekend. Phelps took her to a Michigan football game last season and a Cleveland Browns football game last fall.
"He always calls her when he is in town and they go out." Prejean's grandmother Jeanette Coppolla told RadarOnline.com.
"Carrie knows that he has dated a lot of girls but she enjoys going out with him and isn't serious about being in a relationship with him," she added. "He's a nice guy and she likes him."
LOL! If those had been pix of The Donald I wuz gonna hit the Abuse button... ;-)

I must be in a parallel universe. The one I’m used to puts up Joan of Arc or Mother Theresa as Christian role models for women, the other defends a young confused girl who gets naked for photo shoots and pumps up her boobs to DD’s to help her win a beauty pageant whose ultimate goal is the objectification of womens bodies at the expense of their hearts and soul.
Oh ya, I forgot. She came out against same sex marriage so that trumps all previous considerations...like modesty, humility, chastity. And the most obscene aspect is she keeps defending the nude pics (wardrobe malfunction? Huh? Give me a break) and the boob job as if those are acceptable Christian objectives as long as you can make a few bucks along the way.
Prejean doesn’t need to be condemned for this...she is young and confused, but she should not be held up as a role model and those Christians doing backflips to rationalize the events and spin them as mainstream Christian values need to take a long look at themselves. Prejean needs counseling, not congratulations and adoration.
BTW - Anyone out there who thinks this is some kind of plus for your issues is simply deluded, it is a huge loss. Prejean looks at best inconsistent and at worst vacuous, hypocritical and morally ignorant.
But, if this is the mountain you want die on, go ahead and immolate yourself.
