The fact is, that, except for name-calling and false accusations, they have no answer for her. This is why they fear her so.

She is a true conservative, tough, feminine, articulate, humorous, powerful, principled and charismatic. Sarah Palin stands on well-communicated, clear conservative principles. No offense to the other fine potential Republican candidates, but she will be hard to beat in 2012.

She has to stop canceling appearances if she wants to be taken seriously.

Sarah is on the record for amnesty. She had better move away from the McCain position on immigration or she is a dead woman walking as far as conservatives are concerned.

No. But they just as well could have been cancelled in 2008 after McVain won New Hampshire and South Carolina. Remember this:

Unlike the current President, she can speak without a teleprompter. Halfway during her inspirational speech, her teleprompter quit working properly. Many public speakers would have panicked, or at least skipped a beat. She did not. Her speach went on flawlessly, passionately, powerfully, and from the heart.

The only time the ticket led or was within striking distance of ObaMao was the brief time between Sarah's electrifying convention speech and when Soros engineered the market crash in mid-September.

Yes, Sarah's favorables have fallen since because the enemedia has worked 24/7 to slime her But she's real and no amount of enemedia sliming can change the fact that she's a real American who happened to get into politics, not a career politician who is trying to act like a real person.

For starters, let me admit that I could be wrong but let me toss a couple of arguments out here.

Sarah isn’t anyone’s “perfect candidate.” Positions that I and some others might agree with could be roundly condemned by you and still others. Considering humanity’s record on dealing with “perfect” people I’d be surprised if she even wants to be perfect. Didn’t we crucify the last one?

Besides, holding out for unrealistic perfection will only get us four more years of Hope and Change. Instead of beating up on her for one tarnished facet we’d be better off if we would simply buy the gem and set it in such a way the tarnish wouldn’t show. Didn’t we allow ourselves to be divided so thoroughly in the last election that we were soundly conquered? Remember all the accusations about Ron Paul being a Nazi or worse, a ‘wingnut?’ Wouldn’t we be better off with him in the White House than The Great Usurper?

No, Sarah isn’t perfect but until The Perfect One comes back we need to learn to deal with imperfection.

And her supporters need to stop being so damned insulting as to assume that anyone who votes for someone else in a primary years away is something less than conservative.

I like Sarah Palin just fine and will likely vote for her IF she runs and proves herself to be the best conservative candidate.

I just hope we don't get into a situation that we reject good candidates because they are not perfect.

Perfect isn’t an issue. I choked back my bile and voted for McCain but voted for Hunter in the primaries.

Not necessarily you, but there are some people on FR here that do demand perfection.

Sarah Palin is the only true conservative that has been mentioned as a possible candidate in 2012.

“Sarah is on the record for amnesty. She had better move away from the McCain position on immigration or she is a dead woman walking as far as conservatives are concerned.”

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Sarah Palin is the only conservative* that has been mentioned for 2012, but her stance on amnesty warrants the the asterisk. And on that issue, I am 100% opposed to her.

Unless she changes her stance on that issue—immigration—she can not be considered a conservative.

“Unless she changes her stance on that issue—immigration—she can not be considered a conservative.”

Then, according to your logic Ronald Reagan can not be considerd a conservative (remember, he signed the amnesty of 1986).

Even with Hunter there were a few issues I disagreed with him on but overall he was the best candidate for me.

I am mostly concerned that these people who have decided that Palin will run, won’t vote if she doesn’t. At this point she doesn’t seem to have any real interest in Washington but it could be that it’s just too soon and her supporters should take that hint and relax.

I wouldn't go that far but agree that she will need to take a stronger stance on her own. What she has said, she said as McQueeg's running mate and I take that into account.

Give her a year and lets see if she starts visiting the other states to hear what we have to say.

The Reagan amensty was supposed to be a one-time event. It was a terrrible mistake that even Ed Meese termed a mistake.

Palin and others like her who favor an amnesty, i.e., repeating the same failed policy, cannot be compared to Reagan in this regard. They have the benefit of hindsight. And another amnesty will destroy this country with the stroke of a pen. The stakes are much higher this time around.
