I realize that there is a difference between the ennui at the end of one Presidential Term and the natural enthusiasm at the beginning of the new one BUT it seems to me that I haven’t yet seen a day since the Inauguration that Obama hasn’t had some boob-tube time. Maybe I am forgetting but I do not think that Bush had the same treatment but I am sure that is just the paranoiac minion of the ignorant right-wing conspiracy talking.

yep... and with the government involved in regulating the credit industry, we will just end up with an end of folks buying things on credit, which I don’t do anyway... but I still feel the free market should decide which of those companies should rise or fall.

wonder how many TVs, cell phones, Ipods and computers will be purchased under these new credit card regulations.. my is guess is a whole lot less.

I just about fell out of my chair when I heard Obama say He's going to put a stop to reckless government spending.

And of course the media just praised him for it, ignoring the trillions he's already spent, and the promises he's making to spend trillions more on 'free health care' and other government crap.

They also praised him for creating 72,000 government jobs, (ignoring the fact we lost 181,000 in the private sector during the same period) which is the same as 72,000 more people collecting welfare, while there being 181,000 less people paying the taxes to provide the tax revenue to pay for those welfare checks.

That's ok though, Obama will just add that to the deficit, which is growing at an alarming rate percentage-wise of our shrinking GNP. (which the media also ignores)

The also ignore the dismal treasury bond sales that Obama was hoping will cover that enormous and rapidly growing deficit, making D-DAY (the day our dollar crashes through the floor) an even faster approaching event that is going to bring this country to it's knees put this country in it's grave. (it's already on it's knees)
