This column says Yes, Yes, Yes, to the Party of No, No, No. Let me be a contrarian and declare Im for the Party of No. In fact, Im for the Party of No, No, No and No.
When you have a radical, leftist, socialist, charlatan, demagogue president backed by a Democratic Congress, who is shooting out wacky leftist proposals with machine-gun rapidity, you need a strong party saying no. This is not your typical political dispute, but a matter of national survival. As this column has often tried to demonstrate, Barack Obama is taking us down a path of national destruction.
Whats more, I dont think the Republicans have to figure out where they stand. All they have to do is go back to basics limited government, limited spending, smaller deficits and budgets, limited regulation, low taxation, free market capitalism, an emphasis on private enterprise, strong national defense, strong foreign policy, individual responsibility, personal freedom, judges who interpret the Constitution and law rather than legislate from the bench, and a recognition of American exceptionalism.
In other words, get back to the principles of our Founders, which gave us the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Their principles are still valid and they dont have to be repealed in favor of the agenda of leftist judges loaded with empathy and bursting with the leftist, radical, liberal agenda.
Theres no shortage of conservative thought from the recent past, such as Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan, and from the present such as Mark R. Levin in his new book, Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, and writers such as Newt Gingrich, Dick Morris, Ann Coulter, Karl Rove, Mike Huckabee and Mark Steyn.
What the Republicans have to do is to educate the public on Mr. Obamas programs and plans.

.....and there ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages and Michael Steele, is the answer in a nutshell.
It is more than the survival of the GOP (odious as that may be) at stake here. It is the survival of our nation.
