Suffice it to say that if the abduction of a sixteen year-old, all-American boy under the auspices of the Patriot Act had occurred under the Bush administration, the lefties would be led by a hard-charging media, calling for the President to resign. No "truth commissions." No hearings. They would want blood.

Nope. He is Home-Schooled. Obviously he is one of THOSE conservative extremists that Secretary of Homeland Security Napolitano warned them about. Probably will try and get it tried as a Hate Crime as well on behalf of the poor minority students that would have been targeted.

The original “Mom says Patriot Act...” article has been posted twice over there. Each time it’s received about 8-15 comments. Most are in sympathy with the kid and agree his rights have been violated.
One DUer calls for Obama to use the patriot act against conservatives to convince us the patriot act was a bad idea.
One speculates that the kid must have threatened Obama.
One claims the mom said the kid was going to enlist in the military and then Obama got elected.
None of them seemed to disparage the kid for being homeschooled just a little paranoia that the kid must have been anti-Obama.
Another example related to my tagline.
