It reads to me like you agree with BO. He’s saying you can pay for it out of pocket if you like, but it won’t be sustainable for the public system to pay for it. Makes sense to me

In England, you will not be given kidney dialysis even if you want to pay for it out of pocket if you are over 65 years old. In practice, the age is 55. It is because there are only so many machines. When the government owns the resources, like in nationalized health care, it won't matter if you can afford it. Look at the countries where they have gone so far as to outlaw private insurance.

FYI. The CDC released H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu) Infections Alert for Institutions of Higher Education. It included this paragraph that was bold in the original release.

Monitor the postings on the CDC web site and that of your local and state health departments and follow local health department advice about possible closure of colleges and universities

So, we shouldn't be surprised if colleges and universities start closing in the coming days. I find that if I know what to expect, things make a lot more sense.
