Ok. They were out here this morning. The Constitution says that they are only to take a count. Not GPS my property. They handed me a slip of paper that my answers are confidential and that I am required by law to provide the information. However, they didn’t ask for any information just GPS and said that someone else will be by to ask questions.
Yes, someone came here too, had a palm pilot of some kind.
Think about during the depression, when hobos and tramps were traveling the land, they would often leave messages
chalked up about the property owners, who were kind, who were mean etc. This Administration is gathering tOO much
information about the people.
We should demand to see the information contained on these
files. Addresses? Political affiliations? Cross referenced
to gun owners? This is more than the government should know.
The “required by law” thing caused an uproar last time around. They threatened a $100 fine, which many were entirely willing to pay. The fine/punishment was ultimately rescinded/ignored; we’ll see what happens this time ‘round.
Please let me know where is says no GPS in the Constitution. It's probably in the US Code, which is often un-Constitutional.
I'm in agreement. The US CODE breaks so many Constitutional protected rights. Notice I say "protected" and not given? Those rights that are "given" can be taken away. The United States Constitution was formed to "protect" our God-given rights, or if you prefer, our natural-born rights as human beings. I care not which.
