Then how do you explain Al Gore, the Clintons, Obama, et al getting so rich in such a short time? They are hoarding wealth and closing the door to the middle class and the private sector. They have no problem accumulating tens of millions of dollars. How's your bank account doing lately? Any $2 million book advances for having someone else write a book for you?

No insult taken. These people are not actually getting monetarily rich except in the short term. What they have succeeded in doing is gaining control of the accumulated wealth of the nation. This is always enough for your basic looter. They don't care what misery will ensue. All they care about is their life of leisure in this lifetime. They are by nature sociopathic narcissists and have no interests beyond their current existence. Does that help?

I agree. Sociopathy with a strong tendency toward narcissism. These are very sick minds and I suspect they will have eternity to ponder their plight. Normal people lack the tools to fight this kind of person because normal people tend not to believe in extremes or pick fights with extreme people. That's why bullies usually win. Nobody wants the hassle of fighting them and losing. SO the principle needs to step in. Here, the principle is the government and they are the sickest minds of all. Cop gone bad...

Spot on! Normal people's minds just don't work this way. That is the sociopath's main advantage. They spend their existence without normal emotions of empathy and quickly learn as children to emulate said emotions. But in their minds, they just feel a kind of cold contempt for people who actually have normal emotions. They gravitate to positions of power because that is the only gratification left to them. I've read statistics that as many as six or seven percent of people have this affliction to one extent or another.

I think Joe Barton should have asked Algore about his newfound wealth during his most recent Congressional testimony.

Algore was there dissing the AGW 'deniers', saying that the scientists from whom they got their data were paid by the 'oil industry'. So who's paying the scientists who are coming up with the AGW data? And why should we take anything Algore says seriously, when his catastrophic predictions are serving to drum up revenue for the Carbon Trading scheme from which he is personally profiting?

His money is all tied up in Green Companies - the more fear he instills on the public the more people get suckered into this hoax/scheme and the more money he makes. Dems scream about those evil fat cats and capitalists but it seems to me that they are the ones that are evil and doing the exact things that they rail against.

He was at the congressional hearing to do the same thing because the super majority creates the perfect storm for him and GE for all this green crap to be passed so people have to invest in these companies and buy these inane products. They know it’s BS that’s why Gore refuses to debate GW with anyone. A bunch of evil, corrupt, lying D*bags.
