The real shock here is that after all the so called outrage by GE shareholders they re-elected the same board members to new terms.

Sort of like the political electorate isn’t it. My congressman is a corrupt thieving spineless SOB but dammit he’s my corrupt, thieving, spineless SOB!

I was neither shocked nor surprised. The sad part of it is that it was compared to the seriousness of Watergate, but I don’t think that anything would ever become of it if it is indeed true. It will be one of those things that are just shrugged off, either because the power balance is lopsided, or people in general won’t understand what it means.

We have a very sad state of affirs in the Union today when those in power can do virtually anything they want. Fortunately we have two checks on that power left. The Supreme Court, and We the People from which all power government originates.

We all need to be sure to go to a Tea Party near us the next time they come about, because when all else fails, it’s up to us to inform the government that it no longer has consent of the govered. The founding fathers counted on this as a backstop in case the government should careen out of control to the extent as this one has.

Barry’s administration will go down in history as the most corrupt since the founding of this nation!

This is sounding more and more like something straight out of Atlas Shrugged. These idiots are destroying the country and that feeling of something terribly wrong felt by Eddie Willers at the beginning of the book is becoming pervasive in America.

"Eddie Willers walked on, wondering why he always felt it at this time of day, this sense of dread without reason. No, he thought, not dread, there's nothing to fear: just an immense diffused apprehension, with no source or object."

Starting to sound familiar?

Some of us have known this for quite some time. In fact people thought I was nuts for wanting to protest their shareholders meeting. We should have had thousands of people outside there showing their shareholders just how upset we are with their political agenda!!!

Is this what the turn of the early 20th century newspaper barrons used to do? They would controll the press to promote their personal projects.

It is just NOW that the MSM is reporting on this. It remains to be seen if this is an ongoing story or just a fluke.
