To: Admin Moderator; Lead Moderator; Jim Robinson
Gents, I know that Free Republic is bound by certain laws, rules, and regulations by virtue of its 501c3 status concerning political solicitations.

Considering that there has been some apparent debate this morning behind the scenes on whether or not these threads concerning Governor Palin's legal defense fund should remain up, I'm wondering if this particular thread can be moved over to News or Activism, or into the Extended News sidebar, and out of bloggers, where it can get more exposure.

If the answer, is 'no' due to legal reasons, then I certainly understand, living and working in federal "la-la land" myself.

But what's FR's official position on this matter just so that we're all on the same page and are doing the right thing together in the larger Conservative cause?
