As many of you already know, I was arrested and roughed up by USC campus police while I was outside the event where Katie Couric got her journalism award for her Sarah Palin interview.
I have written the truth about what really happened there and I would very much like you to read it here: What really happened!
I will have more to say about this outrageous episode in the near future.
Also, we have three very important screenings this week.
Tuesday I am in St. Louis and Thursday in Birmingham.
Tickets for those events can be obtained here: Events Link
For those of you in Orange County California, we have a VERY special screening as part of the Newport Beach Film Festival on Saturday. If you can possibly make, please do as it is very rare for a "conservative" film to be accepted into such a prestigious festival and it is very important that turnout be as strong as possible.
Here is where you get information on the Newport Beach event:
Do to the extremely high volume of e-mail I have received lately (I will eventually get back to everyone) please do not return this e-mail unless you have an important question or piece of information.
Thanks for all of your support.
John Ziegler
Hey Ziegler, I like the work you are trying to do, but I saw the video and you were acting like an idiot that day at USC. You were going out of your way to antagonize anyone you came into contact with, so you invited confrontation.
John, I watched the video. They had no business arresting you, but you were hardly “roughed up”, to my way of thinking. Not saying you deserved any of it, but let’s be real.
***FREEDOM!!!***
Hey, that’s what this is all about!!
More Power to you, JZ!!!!
Isn’t USC a private university? Wasn’t Ziegler trespassing on private property?
I thought he was drunk.
Yeah, especially when he dragged that big banner in front of Katie Couric on the stage, kept screaming obscenities, and smashed a window.
Whoops! That was UNC and Tom Tancredo, and those brownshirt goons were not touched.
The lefties will never be roughed up in these situations, until we start doing it ourselves. I see no better time to start than right now, and I guarantee you those pussies on the left will run for the hills once they are challenged, physically. And it’s come to that, because the system has reached a stage of corruption where we have no remedy using the system and relying on the authorities.
Even THINK about touching a lefty, and you will find out how one-sided law enforcement works.
You actually touch one, adn you will be charged with A&B, hate crimes, etc.
Nah, pretty easy to draw them in and then respond.
Are you speaking from personal first hand experience? I am.
Oh yeah, I’ve thrown a couple around, as recent as a couple years ago. But regardless, at some point, those on our side need to step up and fight back aggressively and stop worrying about what somebody might say, or what some weasel reporter might write, or whatever. And we also need some attorneys with balls on our side, EVER, to fight these most obvious double standards that have been allowed to persist. When the day comes that more of us are willing to fight, we’ll start making up ground.
>>>Isnt USC a private university? Wasnt Ziegler trespassing on private property?<<<
You have a right to walk on University property! Gosh, park your car and stroll the campus!
At least... we used to be able to, before
President OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!
If USC is privately owned, then you have no inherent “right” to walk on their property. If they choose to rope a section off for a private party that is their right.
Even if this had been a public university Ziegler would have been on shaky legal grounds. For instance, try walking into your mayor’s office uninvited and start claiming that it is “public property”. I don’t think you would get very far and I don’t think you should. In other words, the trustees of the public property have some legal latitude to control use. If they didn’t, how would they keep people from disrupting classes?
I guess you’re right.
The trustees of USC can decide to arrest someone walking on the sidewalk, because that’s equal to walking into the Mayor’s office univited..
If that’s the America you want,
get ready to Be Happy.
Let's say there wasn't any tape. Give me your address and I will arrange to have two goons show up at your front door. They'll stay on the "sidewalk" so that you won't feel that you have a legal leg to stand on. Just let us know the next time you plan to throw a party. On of these guys will have a blog, so that will make him a "journalist". The other guy will hold an expensive video camera. They will talk to people entering your party saying things trying to embarrass you into inviting them inside.
(1) What's the chance you invite them inside?
(2) Do you think you might be inclined to call the police to remove them?
From the USC web site: The University of Southern California is one of the world's leading private research universities, located in the heart of Los Angeles.
Just how do you feel about PRIVATE property?
That reply was too long for me.
I zoned out.
