Ex-post facto...."crimes" were NOT committed at all; under existing law. To re-write the law (by interpreting to appease political base), they want to "frog march" Cheney for SOMETHING.

No doubt Dick Cheney's ripping The Messiah to shreds has ruffled the Chicago-mafia staff and the Chicago-mafia Messiah's feathers!

Interesting photo ... the rings are an interesting clue that a female was involved in holding the victim down for this staged photo.

Obama opened the door to persecute the President (Bush for you middle of the road folks) for these after the fact made illegal defense tactics. He is simply speaking louder now to get it moving forward cause his popularity is dropping real fast.

This isnt because of Cheney....its because of Fienstein, shes leading the push and its to stop her investigation.

Mark my words, they want her left alone so they threaten prosecution for prosecution, not to mention Bush's AG was in the middle of both.

You are very very right. There hasn’t been bloodshed yet, but it will us little militias against the best army in the world.

The left with have them on their side.

It has reached the point where there seems to be extreme hatred from those on the left and it’s beginning to seep into those on the right. There is no middle ground and there is intense emotions on both sides.

I don’t know how to change that. Obama was supposed to be the great uniter, but as usual, that what a lie.

OK What type of pressure can we start to stop the “prosecute Bush” mind set?

There are only two people on this planet that I know with absolute certainty can not be intimidated by Obama or anyone else.... one is Vice President Dick Cheney and the other is me.

Screw that white hating traitor...... it’s all a show. Oh it’s going to get ugly, but there will be no convictions.

He will just waste millions, cause hate and discontent and if he goes after Bush and Cheney, I pray to God that will start a civil war.

My post from another thread. It fits better here:

Who remembers when Chris Mathews obsessed about bringing Cheney down? All Cheney all the time. He was convinced Fitzgerald would find some smoking gun that would lead to Cheney’s doorstep.
Fast forward to the present. Dick Cheney is the one person they could not slime...no matter how hard they tried. I’d be willing to bet he is feared most by the left in matters of National Security because he is THE credible authority.
My hunch is the left knew the first time he spoke out, he would be a problem.

I have always admired the Cheneys. My admiration grows each day. I have always said Ronald Reagan would be the greatest President of my lifetime. Dick Cheney will prove to be the greatest Vice President.

Absolutely. You never corner someone like VP Chaney. The damage to our HUMINT capabilities has already been done thanks to obama. I hope he takes them all down.

Either obammy is a slave to the creepy left wingers who hate our nation and its military and our core belief structure OR obammy is a very stupid ape. Eitherway-he does not cut the mustard, even close.

I have a sneaky suspicion that this is one of those cases of a man who never really qualified but got by on hoody hijinks and sleek charm. Probably his job as a community organizer, which I hear was pretty unsuccessful, was where should stayed.

His lack of genuine leadership and willingness to trash our great country just makes ya SICK!

The threat of persecuting officials of the prior administration for acts that were legal when they did them is itself an act of civil war. It changes politic fights to actual battles between sides. The loser suffers punishing fines and imprisonment. If Obama acts on the threat then the very next step after that is bloodshed — as one faction literally hunts down other, not just to imprison, but to kill.

I believe he’ll do his very best to make this possible. Whether he succeeds is a different matter, entirely.

We need to start a fund to relocate any terrorists released by US officials.

Let’s buy them a first-class ticket, and give them $1000, to send them to San Francisco airport.

Gawd I wish Rush or someone similar would advertise this, or even fund this.

I have two round-trip tickets on Southwest I am willing to donate.

Well...I hope Obama does just that. It has been VERY difficult persuading people around me for the need for action. Obama may just do it for me.

Be very careful chosen one... One day the shoe will be on the other foot and pay back is a bitch.

And his words will come back to haunt him:

Since his speeches are always about him (what narcissist's isn't?) ala

"I wake up everyday thinking about how to keep the American people safe, and I go to bed every night worrying about keeping the American people safe. I got a lot of things on my plate. I’ve got a big banking crisis, I’ve got unemployment numbers that are very high, an auto industry that needs work, a whole range of things every day that occupy me.
We can view his other statements as also about himself:

"We are confronted by an enemy that doesn’t have scruples... that isn’t constrained by Constitutions, aren’t constrained by legal niceties."
I think the above statement is very revealing.

"As a general view, I think that we should be looking forward and not backwards."
If the above statement is true then there is no need for prosecution. In regards to a bi-partisan approach to investigating the policy, he states that:
"We should have participants who are above reproach and have credibility."
Does he mean someone like himself? Bwaahahahaha!
"If we make mistakes, we are willing to go back and correct those mistakes."
I believe it is time to go back and correct this One Big Ass Mistake, America.
