Thanks for taking the time to type all of that! Very interesting. If and when Christ comes back how can every one get along when Islam and Christianity are so different?

Next, Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth , and the life, no mans comes to the Father, except by me. The book of 1 Timothy says: For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
Jesus is the ONLY way to God the Father. Christ claimed to be God in flesh. Old testament prophecies foretold Jesus birth and life hundreds and thousands of years ahead of him. And they were all accurate.
Jesus claimed to be God. Mohammed didn't. Buddha didn't. Moses didn't.
Some call Jesus a prophet some call him teacher. Jesus said HE IS God. So which is it? If he's just a teacher or prophet, what kind of teacher or prophet claims deity? He's either a lunatic, a liar or who he says he is. If he's a lunatic or liar, he's not much of a teacher or prophet. If he is God, then his words speak for themself.
And he did say HE was the only way.
Compare the teachings of Islam vs. Christ. Islam calls on its followers to kill others who don't convert. Christ died so that others could come to God.
Both religions claim to be the one true religion or only way to God. Since both religions are different from each other, either they both are wrong, or at least one is. They both can't be right.
As far as any other religion, the same thing stands. Either Christ is God, and what he says is true, and He is the only way. Or he is a liar, he's not who he says he is, and EVERYTHING about him is worthless. BUT if He IS as he claims, every other way to heaven is wrong.
Now as far as Islam and Christianity getting along. I believe that the war of Gog/Magog will virtually wipe Islam off the map. There are 1.6 billion muslims. But the Bible tells us in Revelation, that during the Tribulation that a judgement of war will destroy 1/4 the worlds population. I DON'T KNOW if this judgement and the war of Gog/Magog coincide, but lets do some math for arguments sake. There are 6+ Billion people on earth. If a war wipes out 1/4, thats 1.5 billion, pretty close to 1.6 billion. Remember, it takes Israel 7 months to bury the dead of the invading army.
Next, at the end of the Battle of Armageddon, right before the armies of the world wipe each other out, Christ returns. He'll appear, coming from heaven riding a white horse, with all the saints following him. War will stop. He will speak, and Antichrist, Satan, and the False Prophet will be bound and cast into hell (the lake of fire). Somewhere after is the millenial reign and the Great White Thrown judgement. Its at Christs return, that everybody comes to full understanding of who and what Christ is. There is no longer Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, Hindu. There is only saved or lost. It won't matter if someone were Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Catholic, Methodist, or whatever other church title.
Unless a person accepted that Jesus said who he said he was, and believes for salvation that Jesus died for his/her sins, he or she is lost.
I feel I need to make something REAL clear. Christians ARE NOT any better than anyone else. A Christian is simply a person who realizes that 1-there is one God, with three parts Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 2-God is Holy, meaning absolutely perfect. And that all men have sinned and sin seperates us from God. 3-God hates sin. Our sin seperates us from God. Gods law requires a perfect blood sacrifice to remove sin. Jesus was that blood sacrifice, but ONLY for those who reckognize Jesus as the Christ, God as man, and accept him as Lord or head of their life.
A Christian is not a title or club or orginization or church. A Chritian is simply a FOLLOWER of Jesus Christ. A believer that Jesus is God in flesh, and that he died for our sins, that we could forever have a relationship with God.
What sets Christianity apart from every other religion. 1-Understanding that THE God of the universe created man, so that God could have a two way relationship with man. 2-Every other religion has man doing something to earn his way into heaven. Doing good works, being a nice enough person, balancing good things over bad things, dying in the name of God, etc. BUT, true Christianity isn't about what man does. Its ALL about what God did. Man can do nothing to get to God. God did everything, all man has to do is accept it.
I highly recommend the book The Case For Christ by Lee Stroble. Lee was an atheist, and an investigative reporter. He took his knowledge of investigating to find the truth about who Christ claimed to be, and who others say he his. He lays out piece by piece arguments for and against Christ. From there he made his own decision. EXCELLENT book for understanding who Jesus is and what he is.
I appreciate the education! You are correct, Islam and Christianity both cannot be right. I also feel that only thing that can stop Islam is a Christian movement. It is very disappointing to see Christians make excuses for Islam. It is going to be us or them. I will look into the book.
