Strangely enough, there are still a bunch of Democrats who will vote against most anti-gun bills, ‘cause its that, or lose their seats. There’s enough, that, combined with ‘Pubbies, these bills don’t pass or even get out of committee.

Most working class Democrats are in favor of keeping their firearms, too. It's the
"upscale" folks in both parties, who are afraid that the denizens of trailer parks and tract house neighborhoods will come after them. They just can't figure out how to restrict ownership of firearms to their own kind while staying in office and foreign-obtained wealth.
And those
"upscale" folks are hearkening a lot to Benito in more ways than one.
Someone should write a song about it. ...Fonda, Smeal, Shalala, Reno, Pelosi, Napolitano, Barone,...dey got lotsa cool politician names now. Maybe shiny, synthetic shirts and the chicken (dance) will come back in style.
