Tea Parties II: Liberals in Full Alinsky Mode
The Provocateur ^ | 04/16/2009 | Mike Volpe

When I wrote about the Krugman column mocking tea parties, I also predicted that starting today opponents of the movement would go into full Alinsky rule #13 mode. That's exactly what is happening. First, here are Alinsky's Rules number 13 for radicals again.

identify, isolate, freeze and escalate.

The most infamous example is this CNN reporter.

Fortunately people like Susan Roesgen suck at it. Her shrill diatribe was so transparent, all she did was isolate herself.

FRiends, it's freaking true.

Because it's the only station that my clock radio gets halfway decently, I awaken to WCBS in the morning.

Imus is a complete ass, you understand, but this morning his typically arrogant, self-righteous guest expert sh(thead was positively over the top with his diagnosis of all the obvious textbook personality disorders of all conservatives in the media.

I got up saying, "these people are panicking, and I love it."

I didn't hear her, but I think that's going to be the net result for these self-lobotomized pseudo-humans.

The disconnect is just huge between us and them. The very concept of a reporter (report the news, don’t try to make it yourself?!) cheerleading for a politician in the streets is an Obomination of the First Amendment to me.

Today it is shouting. Next will it be scuffling, then fisticuffs, and finally weapons? This is eerily like watching again the sequence of events that led to WWI. Alliances are made, lines are drawn, chips are placed on shoulders, dialogue fails, provocative events occur, and inevitable violent outcomes ensue.

What happens when people feel they have nothing more to lose. So I ask you, when you even just feel disenfranchised, you feel your liberties and rights are being stripped away, and the fortunes of your life’s work certainly have evaporated because of governmental action and inaction, where does that leave you? People with nothing to lose and everything to gain become what? Starts with R

They are practicing classic Alinsky tactics. Not just the freeze, isolate, personalize rule, but the ridicule rule:

"Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions."

Look at the tapes. The CNN "reporter" (agitator?) is doing precisely that. These people are so brazen and predictable. They don't even make a pretense of objectivity any longer.

Precisely what happened prior to 1775. The colonists appealed to everybody, the Crown, the Parliament, the British people themselves. They got nowhere. Every attempt resulted in rebuff and greater insult. Finally enough people felt that they had nothing more to lose by starting to shoot at people on a bridge in Concord. They too were called malcontents and traitors by those in power. In fact, they were affirming what they believed to be their Creator-endowed, inalienable rights. Are we seeing a replay of that today? Makes me wonder.

I think their continued shill from this point forward (post tea party) will be the final nail in their coffin. As Glenn Beck said yesterday, the line has been drawn in the sand. This was a defining moment that things will be viewed and skewed a little differently moving forward. The more the press shills for Obama and rails against us “right wing extremists” the more the damage whatever credibility they have left.

What number is the "marginalize" rule, 'cause that's the one I picked up on.

The intellectually inbred left is coming to its inevitable end.

I don’t know, there’s different numbers in various sources. I think 12 is the marginalize and freeze rule. Number 5 is the ridicule rule in the list I saw.

She’s a disgrace to the profession of reporting. But then, so is CNN. Ridiculing middle America will bite them real hard, soon.

I think we are reaching the proverbial tipping point where blood will flow.

This is a fascinating study of the human psyche. The more they denounce and deride us, the more desparate they appear.

If we weren’t scaring the tar out of them, why would they bother to try to refute or discredit us? If were really are rambling, bumbling, knuckle-dragging Neanderthals, wouldn’t they want us to get our message out so the world sees it and us for what we are? If we are SO WRONG, why are they trying to silence us?

It simply makes no sense whatsoever.

They are scared wit-less that we are going to put an end to their Communistic dreams for America.

You have to wonder if Obama is as stupid as he appears or if the guys running the teleprompter want chaos in the streets.

It makes me feel good to know that the left is worried. They are afraid of only ONE thing - normal people getting energized.
Most of the time, normal people don’t have rallies, don’t write letters or make phone calls, don’t bother voting. Until they get energized. Then we are a force to be contended with.
Sarah Palin energized us, and the left leapt into action in full destroy-Sarah-Palin mode.
The rallies show that we are energized, and the left is frantically trying to destroy the energy that we now have. They can trash the rallies, but that won’t change our energy. Look out, you liberals!
