Major US Contractor Sells "Big Brother-Like" Monitoring System to IRAN

You would think with all of the embargoes that the US government has on doing buisness with Iran and its crazy President Ahmadinejad , that it would be pretty difficult for companies that do buisness with the United States to sell systems to the terrorist regime that would enable it squash dissidents. Of course if you thought that, "you would think..." wrong.

According to an investigation by Eli Lake, Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), a joint venture between the Finnish cell-phone giant Nokia and German powerhouse Siemens have sold a "big brother-like" spy system to Ahmadinejad's nut house:

When I was a student at MIT there was a demonstration against Polaroid (at their HQ, near MIT) about the fact that they were selling equipment to South Africa that enabled SA to set up an ID system that helped them sustain apartheid. Let’s see if there are similar demonstrations against these guys.
