Now, the second step MUST be taken...
Destroy the Mother Ship that came to assist the pirates.
Destory the smaller ships that came to give assistance.
Then, most importantly - Destroy the entire port city
from whence the sonsuvbitches launched their attacks....
From your lips to God's ear. Spot On.

A daring French commando raid brought a five-day hostage crisis to a bloody end
Maybe the Western governments are finally buying a clue -- that this is the only way to deal with these pirate/terrorists.
President Jefferson did with the Barbary pirates.

From the article in your post:
Two other Somalis, one involved in the negotiations and another in contact with the pirates, also said the talks collapsed because of the U.S. insistence that the pirates be arrested and brought to justice.
No good extradition treaties with the Pirates of Somalia, have we??

MSNBC ‘expert’ lamenting the killing of the pirates. It will make the pirates more dangerous, blah blah blah

I'm sure Obama used his years of military experience to solve this situation. NOT!!!!!!!

Well, first of all, I never ever spell him with an O, but always with a 0.
Second, it wasn’t my original thought, but I grudgingly agreed with the poster who said that congratulations are in order. If he let the United States Navy be the United States Navy, then that is a whole heck of a lot more than I ever expected of him. So, yes, I am relieved and grudgingly offer congratulations.
Happy Easter to you.
To: Nuhna di Abuv
Happy Easter to you, as well.
From my standpoint, on the list of those having earned congratulations, I just don’t have Obama up there. He is well down the list (if on it at all), likely having been dragged into allowing the military to do their work because he had no other option.
