I was in the middle of writing a great Message to you this afternoon about how first-time membership in the Libertarian Party has increased every month for the last three months and weve seen a 151 percent increase in new volunteers. People are excited about the Libertarian Party!
Then I got a phone call from 202-225-2176.
It was Congressman Alan Graysons office.
Theyre not sharing the love.
(snip)
Well, apparently Congressman Grayson isnt happy with the phone calls hes been getting from concerned Libertarians.
His office called me around lunch to complain from 202-225-2176.

I give up (meds should be kicking in soon though).
BOOO HOOOO HOOOOOO poor congresidiot. If you saw the smackdown he got from Neal Cavuto you would wonder how a man that dumb got elected.
I love how “conservatives” love to denigrate libertarians. The founders were libertarians so I am in good company
Just goes to show you how many so-called “conservatives” are just statists in different clothing.
Libertarianism has an honored chair at Reagan's table, just like every other conservative faction. Reagan Conservatism IS Conservatism, so your definition of "conservatism" is skewed.
I am not a Libertarian, btw, I am a Reaganite.
Civil Libertarians as a large subset of Libertarians in general are more concerned with the preservation of Constitutional liberties than any other thing. While their party platform is palatable to them, they tend to vote with Conservatives and are our stoutest allies.
While they often play the antagonist, that is undoubtedly their role, for their legitimate concern for the Constitution and our liberties are every bit as important a compass as the moral one the Christian Right provides in their ceaseless drive toward a moral ethic.
They key is Reagan Conservatism- It is there that all the conservative factions, including the Libertarians, find agreement and thereby power to move our combined agenda forward together.
I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

We may not all be the same, but smaller government and less intrusion in our lives is the goal. We should never forget that.
BUMP to that!!
Let’s hope the republicans field a good candidate who can win back this seat; it is a conservative district.
