Win/Win: Europe Can Keep Obama
America Needs Me ^ | 04/04/09 | Stephen Kruiser

Might as well clear this up: I'm an arrogant American. Big time. Mostly because I read things like, you know, history.

We've long known that there is an infinite amount of space underneath the Obama Bus and that seemingly everyone but Michelle and the kids were in danger of finding themselves there. Hell, he even threw one of his grandmothers under the thing during the campaign.

Still, even a hardcore, practiced cynic like me didn't expect him to throw the whole damn country under the bus when he became president.

In America, there is a failure to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world. Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.

Yes, he supposedly balanced that out with some blah, blah, blah about anti-Americanism in Europe but the problem is this: he began with the "America sucks" bashing.

It's reflexive with this guy and the people around him, almost pathological. I honestly don't think any of them can help themselves any more. This speech was given a couple of days after the president practically buried his face in the crotch of the oppressive misogynist who masquerades as the Saudi king.

This behavior by the man who would be a transcendent American leader is a mutation of Bush Derangement Syndrome, which afflicts virtually everyone who has ever been associated with Team Lightbringer. Their m.o. is to preface everything they say with "Bush's Fault!" or "Bush Sucks!" as a diversion for whatever socialist lunacy they're about to spout. By replacing "Bush" with "America" the president can appear to be avoiding the pettiness of slamming his predecessor while feigning humility for the sake of diplomacy.

I’m not sure if Europe would even take him.

I wish Europe would keep him and her over there, since it seems to me, they don’t think too much of this country.

I think they would NOT. The Left 'there'; like here; is nourished from the same hypocritical and dishonest rootbed. The affectionate displays; are just that.
