If I had a pic of the Peachoid alongside I-85 in Gaffney, SC, I’d post it. It looks like nothing so much as a giant, pink derriere, looming above the pines and mooning passing traffic. It’s a water tower, actually.
The infamous Peachoid, a million gallon water reserve in the shape of a peach, graces I-85 down Hwy 11 a piece close to the exit just beyond the Prime Outlets at Gaffney which are better known to the locals as the "Yellow Mall." .
